These words healed me. The journey of allowing myself to feel my pain, process, and move past it has not been an easy task. However, it has been one that has shaped the human being that I am today. Through these words, I have found closure. Through this healing journey, I have found peace. I don't know that I would have found any amount of closure from the words of another. Nor would I have been able to move forward with my life, had it not come from a desperate place within myself. I was once so lost and broken. I wallowed in my pain. Isolated myself from those I loved the most. Until one day, I decided to just write. I wrote until my hands hurt. I bled through a pen everything that was torturing my soul. These words are the culmination of all of those emotions. These words gave me freedom. This book is my heart, and my soul. My hope is that through these spoken words, you find peace within yourself, as well. That you might find the strength to move forward, knowing that someone else has experienced a similar pain.
