The book title, A Simple Game of Ten, implies that there is a simpler way to view the success of MLB baseball organizations. Success these days is measured in the number of wins a baseball team achieves, with the ultimate prize of winning a conference title or participating in post-season playoffs and getting to and winning conference championships or the World Series of baseball.
