An unusual situation arises at the southern end of the world as the Nazis attempt to establish themselves in Antarctica. What they find beneath the ice could change the course of world history if they can find a way to exploit it. Sir Arthur Dukes, the liaison to Will Danger and The Family on behalf of his Royal Majesty King George VI, finds out the Nazis are up to something on the icy southern continent. He is filled with disquiet but he cannot identify precisely why. Nevertheless, he begins to press Danger to take action, to go south and explore. Danger and The Family have other concerns and do not wish to go the ends of the Earth based on nothing more than a hunch. Finally, however, solid intelligence is developed that leads Danger to mount a polar operation, sending Danger and The Family into a situation that is both unexpected and filled with unanticipated perils as well as opportunities. Ultimately, Will Danger and The Family are brought face-to-face with Adolf Hitler in a meeting that could change the course of the future history of the world. Or perhaps not.
