With Psalm 15 as an anchor point, the author asks and then answers the questions David posed:
Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? Who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
What does it take for a man or woman of God to walk uprightly, to work righteousness, and speak the truth -- with the tongue as well as the heart?
What does it take to be a perfect woman of God or man of God?
Delving deeply into both the Old and New Testament, the author examines the lives of the patriarchs, the deeds and words of the apostles, the prophets, and the example given by Christ to give readers guidelines and a standard of measurement. Then he turns the magnifying glass of examination and the scales of judgment and measurement from the people and teachings of the past to the present -- to the church and the ministers and missionaries and everyday Christians living in today's sin-sickened world. Just how well is today's church and today's Christian living according to God's precepts and standards? Where is the church falling short and failing in the mission given by Christ? At times harsh and critical, and other times pleading, the author makes his case for changes in standards, in actions, in thoughts, to bring about the perfect woman or man of God who has the right and the privilege to abide in Heaven and dwell in the presence of God.
