Do you remember the pastor you knew a few years ago? It's likely he's not a pastor anymore.According to a recent study, up to 40 percent of pastors in this country will leave the ministry after serving only five fears. nearly 60 percent said they would leave the ministry if they felt there was a better opportunity for them, whether that was a secular or nonsecular job. What are the reasons pastors are frustrated with their ministry? What can Christians do to help prevent their pastors from falling into disappointment? When God Disappoints Pastors is both a series of personal letters to struggling pastors and an exhortation to Christians to help their pastors. It is a book that will strenghten and encourage pastors, as well as challenge Christians to help pastors in the unique problems they face as they shepherd their congregations.
