This book is purely for enjoyment! It does not strive to be educational, although there is a gentle health education message. I addition, the pleasure of looking at the pictures and reading the explanatory words may help to foster reading skills. The story was inspired by a joke Sharrie Wright told to her two grandsons when 'baby- sitting'. The children were aged 4 and nearly 6 years at the time. They found the spoken tale, laugh out loud hilarious! This gave Sharrie the idea of accompanying each stage of the story with paintings of the characters up to their tricks. Warning - this is a NAUGHTY book! Parents may chuckle too!
