This is a look into the world from a 14-year-old's perspective. It might sound a little strange that a gen z is writing a book. I say, I am indeed a little strange. Surprisingly enough, I'm the middle child. You know, they say the middle is always a little weird and I figured out why. Whenever I start writing a story, the beginning of the story is always planned in my head. Then I make an outline of the ending part. Most of the times I have no idea what am I going to write in the middle and I always end up messing it up. And it takes me months to figure out how to make that part better. Yet, at the same time, when I finally come up with the middle part it usually holds the best scenes [a little flex right there]. This is my first time publishing a book. Writing stories has always been my thing, I wrote my first story when I was in the 1st grade. Things have changed a lot since then; I almost forgot how much I loved literature. In seventh grade, my literature teacher started complimenting me on my writings. I guess, every single word she let out brought extreme inspiration to me. That's when I decided to start writing again. I started posting my writings on Wattpad, there were never too many comments or views. I had like 28 followers. As much as it broke my heart to be an unsuccessful Wattpad writer, it also inspired me to work harder. Now I can say, I look back at my writings and cringe at myself but it is okay because I would have never known what type of writings I like, if I never wrote. In the beginning of 2021, January 5th I wrote a poem, my family was supportive of it. They all seemed to like my writing and inspired me to write more. My grandpa told me, my writing style was like Michael Madhusudan Dutta, I had no idea who he was. Then I showed my writing to my cousin, he commented the same. So I looked him [Michael Madhusudan Dutta] up and got more inspired. I wrote another poem after some days. Then in March I wrote my 36th poem and decided to publish them. The editing and cover making part was really hard, but hey, I got over them, I did them alone so might as well get published and let people read my writings. I read my poems so much, when editing, that I got bored of them but I worked too hard to not publish. Things that do not make sense make sense too. Things that are complicated to me are probably easier to you. Hence in my poems, I did not state everything clear and straight, maybe if anyone reads deep enough they'll know what perspective I've written from. It's not important for the readers to know my perspective, everyone can make their own. I believe there are people out there, who feel exactly like me, I wrote this book to inspire them. I really hope people like my poems, if not then I can learn from my mistakes.
