The tale of Hanuman is unique. This book has tried to capture the development of Hanu from a mere lad into a military hero and one capable of many brave deeds. He is the hero who has sacrificed much, learnt much, and who has evolved in the process.There are many diversions from the original Ramayan, because I have tried to present my perception. It is to me a historical narrative of Ram and his brothers. I have deliberately made changes, made additions and omissions as the course of my narrative dictated. I have seen the characters as persons not as 'monkey-tailed vanaras' nor 'monstrous rakshasas', but people with characteristics different from our own. Thus there are many Warriors and Rebels in this story.But above all, towers the great Hanuman or Hanu as I have lovingly called him; he is the centerpiece of my tale, a fascinating figure. The story is told from the point of view of his evolution into the superhero that he is considered today. But he was not always so. He too had to learn; he too needed to evolve.Throughout the tale, I have tried to reinterpret it for the Generation NXT and make it relevant for them. Every chapter has an axiom in self-management and team management. The story has relevance to young adults as a result. But they can also enjoy it as a historical narrative.
