Sophie is debating whether to go back to her shitty delivery job or stay in the interview take the job and become a new slave altogether. He is making her sign things if she doesn't sign she has to go back to her delivery job. In this country people who deliver things to make money are treated like literal dogs. You heard that right literal dogs it doesn't matter if you are a man it doesn't matter if you are a woman it doesn't matter if you are a child if you are poor you will get treated like shit. They value a child's a human's life based on their status that's the world we live in right now. This work is fictional but based on real life experiences of women and real life.
