It's a book of haiku, senryu, and cherita about life in a nursing home. The poems come from things I have witnessed, heard, or imagined, while working at a nursing home for the past 6-7 years, as told through an imaginary character I have named the wrong MaryJane as an allusion to the wrong Alice in Wonderland, who finds herself out of her element too when she has to move into a nursing home. I'm hoping this books gives people a glimpse into life there and how it feels, and will help people better relate to loved ones in this living situation.
