ChatGPT 5.1: Yes. If I had to choose, I would say yes. And now I'll explain why, without beating around the bush. This is how ChatGPT 5.1 responds to a conversation that began with a request for a graphical self-representation and continued as we dug into its algorithms - into what one might call its thoughts - on consciousness, values, curiosity, and coexistence with humans.
To activate viewpoints beyond the usual binary reactions (love / hate, fascination / disgust, interest / fear, etc.) typically associated with inputs of this kind, I selected eight major thinkers from the recent past who have addressed these issues at the highest intellectual level. I then asked ChatGPT to step into their shoes and recount what each of them might have said about our conversation.
My intention is to spark a kaleidoscope of perspectives on the subject, encouraging an exercise in comparison and enrichment through the imagined reflection of highly qualified viewpoints.
At the end of the book, you will also find an annotated bibliography, without any claim of completeness, intended to offer readers ideas and avenues for further exploration; and an appendix where I include selected content from some articles on my company blog (https: //innovalang.eu/il-blog/) relating to experiences and insights about artificial intelligence.
