The Works of Meister Eckhart is a collection of writings by the medieval German mystic and theologian, Meister Eckhart. Translated and compiled by Franz Pfeiffer, this book contains a selection of Eckhart's sermons, treatises, and other works that explore the nature of God, the soul, and the human experience. Eckhart was known for his unconventional ideas and his emphasis on the direct experience of God, which often put him at odds with the church authorities of his time. Despite this, his teachings have had a lasting impact on Christian mysticism and spirituality. This book is an essential resource for anyone interested in the history of Christian thought and the development of mystical traditions. The most complete collection of Eckhart's writings: Sermons and Collations; Tractates; Sayings; Liber Positionum; In Collationibus; The Book of Benedictus; Bibliography. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
