Captivating and carnal, With Love, Thetis rivets and enchants readers. Its language is both sensual and erotic. Suggestive, it elicits romance. Seductive, it evokes passion. With Love, Thetis combines old-world methods with new-wave fashion. While the rhyming may be reminiscent of old-fashioned form, the voice and style are contemporary. The outcome is both traditional and modern. With rhythmic charm and subtle tone, With Love, Thetis fascinates readers. Charming, the main scenario revolves around a lovesick goddess, Thetis, who writes love letters to the gods. Among others, some of her correspondents include Apollo, Ares, Poseidon and Dionysus. When Thetis becomes aware of her infidelity at the end of the book, she writes an apology to her husband, Peleus. Sensational, the letters are glamorous. Splendid, the letters invite us into a work of fiction where amorous content animates each page. Fabulous, the letters are unsurpassed. Overall, With Love, Thetis is a book to enjoy.
