What happens when a child outgrows a beloved toy?

How can we spread joy to others?

One lonely, wishful toy soon learns it can still bring love and laughter to a child's life.

For parents and educators:
The Wishful Toy shows readers that sharing is important, and sharing with others who may be less fortunate is an important lesson to learn. Children will see that even though it's sometimes difficult to let things go, especially toys that were once so meaningful, the joy they can bring others is something very special.

In The Wishful Toy, children will read about kindness, the importance of sharing with others, and how recycling things that are still usable can make a big difference in another person's life. Further ideas addressed include thinking beyond yourself, developing empathy, gaining social and life skills, and understanding that we can make a difference by helping each other
