William Shakespeare of Stratford-On-Avon: His Epitaph Unearthed and the Author of the Plays Run to Ground is a book written by Surtees Scott that delves into the mystery surrounding the true authorship of William Shakespeare's plays. The book explores the theory that Shakespeare was not the true author of the plays attributed to him and instead suggests that the true author was a nobleman named Henry Neville. The book presents evidence to support this theory, including the discovery of an epitaph in a churchyard in Stratford-upon-Avon that allegedly provides clues to Neville's authorship. The author also examines the historical context in which the plays were written and the political and cultural influences that may have shaped them.Through extensive research and analysis, the author attempts to unravel the mystery of Shakespeare's true identity and the origins of his plays. This book is a must-read for anyone interested in Shakespearean literature and the ongoing debate surrounding the true authorship of his works. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
