White Fang is a novel written by Jack London, published in 1906. The story is set in the Yukon Territory during the Klondike Gold Rush and follows the journey of a wild wolf-dog hybrid named White Fang. The novel is divided into five parts, each depicting a different stage in White Fang's life. The first part begins with White Fang's birth in the wild and his early days with his mother and siblings. As he grows older, he learns to hunt and survive in the harsh wilderness. However, his life changes when he is captured by Native Americans and sold to a cruel man named Beauty Smith, who trains him to fight other dogs for money. In the second part, White Fang is rescued by a kind man named Weedon Scott, who takes him in and treats him with love and care. Under Scott's guidance, White Fang learns to trust humans and becomes a loyal companion. The third part depicts White Fang's return to the wild, where he must learn to adapt to life on his own again. He faces many challenges, including a fierce rivalry with a pack of wolves and a dangerous encounter with a lynx.In the fourth part, White Fang is reunited with Scott and his family, but must protect them from a group of criminals who threaten their safety. The final part of the novel sees White Fang settling down with a mate and starting a family of his own. He becomes a respected leader among the wolves and lives out the rest of his days in peace.White Fang is a story of survival, loyalty, and the power of love and kindness to transform even the wildest creatures. It is a timeless classic that has captured the hearts of readers for over a century. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
