Morgan seems to have it all together. She has friends, is a good student, and has a really nice family. Like most kids, however, Morgan has a secret. She's always struggled in reading, especially in reading comprehension. Even when she learned how to read aloud, she never seemed to be able to understand what she read. Teachers would ask questions or ask kids what they thought would happen next and Morgan just didn't have a clue. Worse than that was her fear that other kids would find out and tease her, especially when she started going out of her classroom for extra help.
