INTRODUCTION
The author lives in the US southwest and has visited most of the sites in this book. He has over the past several years produced some 40 travel guide books, many of which are of the western states. In these books he has included a section or chapter on Native American ruins and peoples, and this book is the product of each of those chapters combined. INCLUDED

Included are not just Native American ruins, but also many of their reservations that you may visit, along with addresses and GPS locations. APPENDIX
There is an appendix that covers the plight of the US Native Americans, and another that covers a glossary of terms you should familiarize yourself with, before visiting a reservation. SAFETY
The American west and southwest can be somewhat dangerous if you do not understand the plant and animal life, and the fickle weather patterns. There are tips on how to keep out of danger. LAWS
Native America has its laws and you need to understand each and obey each. The Southwest states also have their laws and their traffic laws that are somewhat different from what you might expect. This book includes some of this information that you will need. DIRECTIONS
