The Wendigo (The Wendigo) is a horror story by the English writer Algernon Blackwood. It was written in 1910; And is considered (here we absolutely agree with the critic) as one of the best ten horror stories of English literature. Before speaking of the story of Algernon Blackwood we will say that the Wendigo is a mythological creature of the Algonquin peoples. His legends are innumerable and contradictory. Sometimes it appears as a being alien to the human race, and in others as a metamorphosed human. Broadly speaking, it can be said that one of the few constants in the Wendigo myths is his fondness for cannibalism.
