I'm not an expert at anything except surviving my own decisions. This is a collection of true stories about the dumb, dangerous, and occasionally sweet situations I've wandered into over twenty-some years - bartending goth clubs, getting swarmed by cops who had the wrong guy, building cities in the middle of the Nevada desert, losing a knife fight, and falling in love with people I never should have. I didn't set out to accomplish anything with any of this. I just kept saying yes to weird things, and eventually some friends got tired of hearing the stories secondhand and told me to write them down. So here they are, mostly unedited for dignity. There's nothing profound in here. No lessons, no redemption arc, no five-step plan for living your best life. Just a guy who did a lot, learned a little, and is somehow still around to tell you about it.
