Welcome to Chaos: A One-Person Play

Peter is an influencer coming home from his book launch. A few drinks in, we watch as he continues to drink in solitude and spiral as he takes us through his thoughts in real time. With fame comes a load of overthinking and for Peter, a lot of alcohol. When he has one too many and decides to hop on a livestream, things go from harmless play to career-threatening carelessness.

Welcome to Chaos offers a glimpse into the mind of a young person navigating success with alcohol abuse. It's a commentary on influencer culture, but also on narcissism and alcoholism in modern day younger generations.

Written by Dean Tyler K, a New York native who has brought his original work to stages across Manhattan such as 54 Below, The Green Room 42, and the Bitter End. His other works include Alone and Should I Feel, both original, full-length musicals. He is proud to lead a sober life after struggling with alcohol abuse in his young life.
