Welcome Home, Ella Mae

Ella Mae Davenport, star biologist of Animal Spirit, never intended to go back to her family's horse farm in Berryville, Maryland. But when a sudden plane crash took the life of her husband and she learned of his heartbreaking betrayal, she returns looking for new meaning and purpose in her life. After traveling the world for her hit nature show, she thinks nothing can surprise her, especially in her small hometown where nothing seems to change. That is until she opens the farmhouse door and finds her first love, the ruggedly handsome town farrier Lee Montgomery, standing on the front porch.

Lee Montgomery's wife abandoned him for the city years ago, leaving him all the more determined to live the quiet life he'd always planned on. He has committed himself to his job as a farrier, caring for the horses of the town and the people that mean so much to him. When Ella Mae returns to Berryville, Lee makes it his mission to help her rediscover the importance of home and family. His love for her may have grown over the years, but past mistakes resurface leaving him unsure if a small-town future is right for them.

As they struggle to overcome their pasts, will Ella Mae and Lee have a second chance at love?
