Nicky Orwell, a brave 13-year-old, finds his world turned upside down when pirates seize his sailor father's ship. Desperate, he remembers his grandmother's tales of the legendary Sea Lord, a powerful hero who aids those in distress at sea. Hoping to find this mythical savior, Nicky sneaks out at night, heading to a deserted beach.
His quest takes an astonishing turn when he accidentally drinks from the invisible Alpharia River, a magical freshwater current flowing through the ocean. This grants him extraordinary abilities: he can now breathe underwater, see hidden wonders like the glowing Alpharia Mountains, and, most amazingly, talk to animals! But this new power comes with a daunting challenge: after five sunrises, he will become invisible to all humans, unless he finds the rare Typharus Honey from the Arctic tundra.
Before he can fully grasp his new reality, Nicky encounters Sea Lord, the wise leader of the tortoises, and his loyal companions: Kookki, the sharp seagull leader, and Choottan, the swift dolphin leader. They reveal that the Sea Lord Nicky sought is not a superhuman, but the collective spirit of nature's protectors. Hearing Nicky's plight, they join forces to rescue his father.
Their perilous journey takes them through a raging typhoon, which Nicky's newfound powers help them navigate. Along the way, they meet Rusthan, a wandering spirit and former soldier, who lends his magical abilities to their cause. Rusthan introduces them to Tuto, an ocean mouse with an incredible sense of smell, and Laxer, a cat guarding an ancient treasure, both of whom become vital allies. Together, this unlikely team of boy, spirits, and ocean creatures must brave a terrifying battle against an army of dark spirits led by the fearsome Pluter Sax, proving that courage and unity can overcome even the most supernatural threats.
With his unique abilities and an extraordinary team, Nicky leads a thrilling mission to infiltrate the pirate ship. He dons a magical mask, becoming the mysterious Lord of the Alpharia Ocean, a masked hero who can command the forces of nature. Their plan unfolds in a daring confrontation on the ship's deck, as Nicky, using his Dragon Kung Fu skills and magical sword, battles the ruthless pirates. The fate of his father, the ship's crew, and Nicky's own future visibility hang in the balance. Will Nicky succeed in his rescue mission and discover how to reverse his invisibility before time runs out?
