Tanders overcame and healed from childhood trauma experienced as a young child of mental, physical, and verbal abuse at the hands of her mother, while both parents were alcoholics, her father could not stop the abuse she suffered. Dr. Tanders suffered sexual abuse by a stranger, and lastly, she suffered emotional abuse from a toxic individual who took great pleasure in the hurt he inflicted. It was clear, these traumas, experiences, and toxicity led to necessary healing.
Dr. Tanders' manifested stories was intended to show God's favor and grace, overcoming obstacles, He will oversee all our troubles when we rely on God. He said He would never leave us nor forsake us! This book should allow you to pursue your healing with all efforts to eliminate your hurt, pain, and any toxicity suffered, for a healthier you! About the Author
Dr. Tanders was born and lived in Alabama until the age of nine. She lived in Pennsylvania until her late teens. She moved to Missouri where she currently resides. She attended Lindenwood University, earning a BBA, an MBA, and an Ed.D. She is an avid reader and a published author. In her healing from childhood trauma, abandonment issues, anxiety disorder, sexual abuse, and toxicity, which touched every fiber of her being. It was a desire to research her history to put pieces together of her life as an adult. She desired to get closer to God to show her appreciation to God, who walked with her during her trying times. God had bestowed His grace upon she and her family!
The death of Dr. Tanders' daughter several years ago, started the journey of healing the grief she suffered. Dr. Tanders has now begun her journey of healing, self-love, and personal growth. Dr. Tanders began writing journals earlier in her life to help make sense of her life's journey into adulthood. Dr. Tanders' manifestation of this book was to show after you put in the work of healing, remove toxicity from your life, with God's grace, you could manifest your best life! This new journey of healing inspired Dr. Tanders to write her first book, My Walk Through Life with Childhood Trauma, which led to the manifestation of her second book, Waiting on God's Divine Timing.
