Waiting in the Wings

Waiting in the Wings is part of an interconnected standalone series. It can be read on its own or enjoyed as part of the Sleepless City series.

An unapologetic playboy, Ben O'Connor never says no to a little fun. However, the novelty of a life of casual hookups is wearing off, and Ben finds himself seeking out the one woman he can't get out of his head. But if he wants to keep her, he's going to have to convince her that he's looking for more than a good time.

Eve Reyes is about to embark on her most important role yet. And while her acting career is taking off, her love life is dead in the water. She may have sworn off Ben after the disastrous end to their first and only date, but the tension she feels with him proves to be anything but lackluster. Eve decides to put aside her misconceptions, throw caution to the wind, and live a little wild.

But when a murder in the rehearsal studio jeopardizes Eve's Broadway debut, her walk on the wild side takes a serious turn. More than Eve's dreams could be in danger if she's not careful.

Spicy romcom meets murder mystery in this thrilling romance.
