Wait a Minute! I Matter Too! is a charming children's book showcasing a little owl who is struggling with the challenges of everyday life. Through the owl's friendship with a wise little bluebird, the owl learns to overcome the challenges with positive affirmations. These affirmations help them to eliminate self-doubt and limiting beliefs. Together they discover happiness, joy, and the strength within themselves.
Educators and parents will love the simple and timely message for the young children in their lives! So often we see children with so little confidence, and belief in themselves, often due to their surroundings and family situations. Being taught self-confidence at a young age equips them to succeed in life... all of life, even into adulthood.
Author, Allison M. Gomez is an educator dedicated to letting children know that they are wonderful, they are loved, supported, and that they matter. Her focus is building children's confidence and self-esteem and helps them to develop their social and emotional well-being. She believes a child's self-confidence is inductive to their learning abilities and self-expression.
Rea Calime is an up-and-coming artist who is self-taught in digital art. She is always researching and finding new ways to express her abilities. Expect more appearances from her!
