Faith in the Lord was something Deborah was taught at a young age, primarily by her grandmothers, and as many do, she walked away for a while to do her own thing. Things changed drastically in 2006, right before her 30th birthday: her dad informed her of a terminal diagnosis he was just given, and that's when life truly got real. Deborah quit smoking cold turkey the night before her 30th birthday and was baptized, completely surrendering to the Lord that next day. What a fantastic birthday gift to oneself! She has wrestled with God and, though her life has never been perfect, she stands on the heart-and-soul knowledge that, by the blood of Christ Jesus, she is-all of us are-washed pure as new-fallen snow. Deborah knows, without doubt or question, that she is forgiven and truly loved by God.
She invites you to join in a journey of honest, real pain and the healing and refreshing heart-love that can only be provided by our Father. Many of us have walked similar journeys and yet still have so many questions, so much anger, and so many different levels of pain. Let this daughter of the Most High walk you through different aspects of healing. Deborah uses her own pain and vulnerabilities to show you where God is in the dark corners of life, always loving His children-us.
