VEGASITE: (VEY-guh-SAHYT) Noun - A term for the status-obsessed residents of Las Vegas, known for their parasitic and delusional personalities. Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas! A sunny place for shady people ... Sets the stage for VEGASITE, the story of a young man from the City of Sin, drifting along an aggressive path of self-destruction, drunkenly stumbling into the sort of situations that only the hopelessly self-loathing find themselves. Scenarios varying from the innocent to the unbelievably nefarious. As the narrator's world suddenly begins to unravel, he is forced to face his demons or lose himself completely to the darkness in his mind. This is the no-holds-barred debut novel of Bryan A. Phillips. Combining identifiable elements of rebellious Americana Literature with a unique sense of disillusionment from the Social Media generation, the author weaves a vibrant story of self-induced hopelessness, sure to leave the audience disturbed long after reading.
