At the age of 50, Cynthia Shaffer thought she had it all: her own
home, a successful career, plenty of friends, and an exhilarating
passion for the sport of dog agility. And then in October of
2014, she suffered a massive brain hemorrhage while warming
up one of her dogs at a practice jump, and her life turned upside
down.
This is the incredible and inspiring story of Cynthia's eight-year
journey as a stroke survivor, determined to beat the odds
(despite what her neurosurgeon told her) and regain as much of
herself as possible, one small step at a time.
