What if you met your soul mate...on the day she died. After she died. This is a different kind of love story, but no less real. When a seventeen year old highschool boy with a mental disorder (schizophrenia) wakes up one night to find a beautiful girl in his room, he is led away on a twisting journey of confusion, obsession and revenge killings. When other visitors begin to appear and ask for help, the boy must ask himself; could they be the spirits of the recently deceased, or perhaps just the creations of his own disturbed, young mind? Visitors by my Bedside is an intense story of a powerful connection between young lovers, set against a world of madness, confusion, and severe self doubt. The reader is swayed in all directions as they try to determine if this tale of a death row inmate is about an insane young man, or a kid pure of heart who happens to fall in love with an actual disembodied spirit.
