This is the ninth book in the epic Visigothic Saga, and the first book in the Blood Moon Cycle of stories. Two brave knights have been assigned to escort the noble heroic Leprechauns Aonghas and Ruairi home the Cluricawne on Erin. By mishap they become involved in an unlikely chain of events involving a treasure map and a defecting Kimmerian Princess. They decide to risk searching for the treasure, and afterwards a hell storm of events overtake them. They are swept up in a war between the Vandals and the Viking-like Hagobards, and witness the arrival of the King of the Eagles, the great Sky Lord Thunor. Yet onward they persist. Will the companions survive the onrush of powerful forces unleashed by this quest. They find themselves in a war unexpected and colossal in its outcome. Only if they survive this greatest of challenges, will they be able to continue the Quest for the Labyrinth of Durathor.
