Step inside a1940s Bed & Breakfast into the witty, watchful mind of its unforgettable hostess. This one-of-a-kind book shares a treasure trove of real guest notes meticulously typed by the author's grandmother, who ran a B&B on Channel Lake in the mid 20th century. From sweet honeymooners to squabbling families, each index card captures a secret, sharp and often hilarious summary of the guests who passed through. She graded them all, sometimes generously, sometimes not so much. Paired with photos, historical context, and modern-day reflections from the author's viral Vintage Gossip series, Grandma's Guest Cards celebrates small-town hospitality, juicy social commentary and a bygone era of brutal honesty. A must-read for fans of nostalgia, memoir, humor and the power of manually typed history.
