Lean, swift, and ancient beyond record, the Greyhound is the fastest of dogs, a coursing and racing hound admired since antiquity. This treasured anthology gathers vintage writing and rare photographs celebrating the Greyhound.

Part of the Vintage Dog Books library, The Vintage Dog Scrapbook - The Greyhound collects essays, breed notes, poems, and period photographs drawn from classic interwar dog books such as About Our Dogs (1931) by A. Croxton Smith, Dogs of the World (1931) by Arthur Craven, and Hutchinson's Dog Encyclopaedia (1935). Together they capture the breed as it was known a century ago, in the words and images of the fanciers who prized it most.
