Bold, capable, and affectionately known as the King of Terriers, the Airedale is the largest of its kind, a versatile worker from the valleys of Yorkshire. This treasured anthology gathers vintage writing and rare photographs celebrating the Airedale Terrier.

Part of the Vintage Dog Books library, The Vintage Dog Scrapbook - The Airedale Terrier collects essays, breed notes, poems, and period photographs drawn from classic interwar dog books such as About Our Dogs (1931) by A. Croxton Smith, Dogs of the World (1931) by Arthur Craven, and Hutchinson's Dog Encyclopaedia (1935). Together they capture the breed as it was known a century ago, in the words and images of the fanciers who prized it most.
