Discover the joy of learning Spanish through play, nature, and storytelling!
Join Mateo, Leo, and their playful pup Churro on a delightful outdoor adventure in the forest. Along the way, young readers will encounter Spanish words sprinkled naturally throughout the story, helping them begin to build their language skills while exploring nature, spotting animals, and joining in the excitement.
Perfect for ages 0-5, Vamos, Churro! A Forest Adventure is a picture book designed for parents, carers, and teachers who want to introduce children to Spanish in a fun, gentle way. It's ideal for families looking to add language learning to everyday moments, from storytime to outdoor play.
A playful introduction to Spanish words - simple, memorable vocabulary woven into a charming story that doesn't require prior Spanish knowledge.
Parent-friendly pronunciation guide included - so adults can confidently read aloud and model correct pronunciation.
Interactive activities at the back of the book - coloring, games, and prompts that extend the story, encourage active engagement, and help children retain the words they learn.
Engaging characters kids will love - siblings Mateo and Leo, and their adventurous dog Churro, bring humor, curiosity, and warmth to the story.
✨ Written by Kirsty Willow, a Scottish mum blending her love of nature and Spanish to create stories that spark curiosity, bilingual moments, and joyful learning at home.
Whether you're a parent, grandparent, or early years educator, this story is a perfect introduction to Spanish vocabulary, offering children a sense of adventure, discovery, and fun. It's designed to help little ones build confidence with new words, enjoy playful interactions, and explore the outdoors alongside Mateo, Leo, and Churro.
This is just the beginning of the Vamos, Churro! series, with each story introducing new Spanish words, nature adventures, and hands-on activities. Families can continue their language journey through imaginative storytelling, playful learning, and real-world exploration.
