Shively, had been a Bible scholar for over forty years, and in fulltime ministry in the churches for twenty-six years, but had not explored the doctrine of the Trinity in any depth until accused of being a polytheist by a Muslim. This book explains why the unity of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit is not polytheism or tritheism.

The author examines how the three are unified from the scriptures, and most importantly, how the Trinity is involved in the salvation of mankind. This book also includes a chapter on how to receive salvation and eternal life though the Messiah Jesus.

Because the definition of the Trinity in this book comes from the scriptures alone as it should be; and not anyone's opinion or philosophy, it will challenge many conventional definitions that have deviated from the word of God.
