In this psychological thriller, one man's victims have not forgotten or forgiven the horrific abuse he inflicted on them. One of them is determined to rid their community of a man who knows no compassion or humanity.
David Henning is dying. The lawyer knows that he doesn't have much time left before the cancer consumes his body and sends him into the next life. David has had many regrets in his life, but his biggest has got to be Skip Gibbs.
Nate Bird Dog Benson will soon become the police chief. He cares fervently about his town of Jefferson. If there is one blot on the town's good name, it is Skip Gibbs.
David and Bird Dog both know the truth about Skip and his sickening abuse of the community's children. They won't rest until the man is finally made to pay for his crimes, but it won't be easy. Skip has managed to elude the authorities and the long arm of the law for decades. The legal system won't protect the children of Jefferson against his monstrous actions. The only thing David can do is bide his time and set a trap...
