What if our approach to missions isn't wrong-but it's missing something
vital?
In this deeply personal and biblically anchored book, a former missionary kid
opens the door to conversations the Independent Baptist church has long
left unspoken. Unseen Fields confronts the quiet realities of missionary life-
of wives carrying invisible burdens, of children struggling in silence, and of
churches offering support in dollars but not in discipleship.
Pulling from firsthand experience, missionary testimonies, and the pattern
found in Acts 13, this book invites readers to consider how we can do better-
right now, with the structure we already have.
But it doesn't stop there.
It also proposes something more.
A method that sends men-proven, trained, partnered and supported-on
short-term, Spirit-led teams.
A ministry mindset that plants churches, not missions.
This isn't a call to tear it all down.
It's a call to look honestly at what we've built-and ask if there's a better way
forward.
Because the field isn't just the souls overseas.
It's the missionary's home.
It's the missionary's family.
And it's the church's responsibility to see it.
