The Blood of Life in the Arteries of Words Eliza Segiet is a poet who never stays silent about important issues. The Blood of Life is the author's eighth volume of poetry. Since her debut, Segiet has remained true to her own ideals, both in terms of her life choices and attitudes, and in terms of her artistic expression. It will come as no surprise to readers of The Magnetic that she places Man at the centre of her poetic universe. The affairs of the individual hold a special place in the author's heart. She is particularly concerned about the fate of children and often takes the side of those who have not been allowed to speak. With seriousness and respect, she returns again and again to the macabre experiences of the victims of the Second World War and the trauma of the so-called Second Generation. She draws inspiration from her own family history (for example, The Voiceless, a story based on the experiences of the poet's grandfather, is well worth reading). Krew życia w arteriach slów Eliza Segiet jest poetką, która nie milczy w ważnych sprawach. Krew życia to już ósma książka poetycka autorki. Od swojego debiutu Segiet jest wierna wlasnym idealom, zarówno w sensie życiowych wyborów oraz postaw, co i artystycznego kierunku. Dla czytelników autorki Magnetycznych nie będzie zaskoczeniem, że w centrum poetyckiego uniwersum poetka zawsze umieszcza Czlowieka. Bliskie są autorce sprawy jednostki. Szczególnie obchodzi ją los dzieci, często pochyla się nad tymi, którym nie pozwolono mówic, z powagą i szacunkiem powraca do makabrycznych doświadczeń ofiar II wojny światowej i traumy tzw. Drugiego Pokolenia. Inspirację czerpie m.in. z historii wlasnej rodziny (warto przeczytac m.in. Bezglośnych - opowieśc opartą na losach dziadka poetki).
