You will discover what it feels like to be a black man in American society, each generation plowing straight ahead and never giving up on a land that has promised liberty and justice for all. The men in this book are living the lives of modern day pioneers.
You will get to know them on a personally level and quickly understand why the process of plowing should never be minimized. It is what sustains the hope of a grand harvest. This hope requires extreme hard work, steadfastness, and unwavering faith. A faith that invites the unity of all people.
There is a hope of not only creating a positive environment for a dialogue concerning the challenges of unity, but the importance of implementing a Call to Action by stepping back into time and identifying the deadly root, then cutting it off once and for all. Healing a nation begins with acknowledgement, repentance and forgiveness.
The Understatement of Plowing is raw and organic. It will give you a close look inside the minds of four black men.
