Twenty-Something Thoughts is a poetry collection reflecting on life-changing events during my college experience. Split into four parts: Twisted Mind, Note to Self: It's Not Me, It's You, Grassroots, and Magic No More.
Twisted Mind explores abusive relationships, body image, and a small act of kindness.
Note to Self: It's Not Me, It's You explores getting back up after feeling powerless. I struggled with depression and body dysmorphia. I also found romantic relationships impossible.
Grassroots came from the realization that I used the word grass in almost all of my poems. It became a symbol for the end of college.
Magic No More: From the Vault are shape poems turned into contemporary verse. The world has become a tragic place to live in, so what happens to the people experiencing global issues?
