Emma Rogers has a nice life. She has a wonderful family, the two best friends in the world, a champion Newfoundland named Cole who is her constant companion and loyal ally, a successful business, and a lovely home. While enjoying great success in the show ring, Emma and her Newfie discover in short order that danger seems to be lurking even there. Before long, matters escalate and Emma and Cole find themselves in real jeopardy. No one is aware of the depth of the malevolence and obsession that fuels the harassment tactics and nobody could have anticipated what would happen when the pressure is turned up. The resulting turn of events is shattering. While help is received from all quarters, including Emma's friends and family, customers from her shop, dog show enthusiasts, and law enforcement, it is the devotion and unbreakable bond that exists between Cole and Emma that proves to be the deciding factor in restoring harmony once again into their lives.
