transform_earth is a mesmerizing tale of two lovers put on a path neither know or understand, a path that unsuspectingly becomes the building blocks of a new world order. Follow Saila Briggs and Izik Rios from childhood to adulthood, and from the far ends of North America, in this trek through time and space. Using his unique brand of 'prose-poetry, ' Good tells the story of two lovers, battling drug addiction, faith, abuse and loss while instigating a modern revolution. Good's writing style is a sultry and ravenous blend of blunt visceral appeal ensconced in a deep affection for hidden beauty, all the while showcasing a modern Shakespearean narrative that lies within his fresh take on the traditional epic. The poetic novella winds itself along a vibrant trail of vivid clues that ultimately bring the story of Izik and Saila together, yet opens the door to varying existential, sociological and religious interpretation. In short, Good has dug deep into a detail-rich world like nothing readers have experienced before. Using his heavy hand of fresh metaphor and striking modern language, transform_earth simply amazes and has the makings of a modern classic for a rapidly changing world.
