Too Small A World: The Life Of Francesca Cabrini is a biography written by Theodore Maynard. The book details the extraordinary life of Francesca Cabrini, an Italian-American Roman Catholic nun who founded the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Born in Italy in 1850, Cabrini immigrated to the United States in 1889 and dedicated her life to helping the poor, sick, and marginalized. She founded schools, orphanages, and hospitals across the United States, Europe, and South America. Despite facing numerous obstacles, including discrimination and opposition from the Catholic Church, Cabrini persevered and became the first American citizen to be canonized as a saint by the Catholic Church. Maynard's biography provides a comprehensive and inspiring account of Cabrini's life and legacy, highlighting her unwavering faith, compassion, and dedication to serving others. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
