A curious cat, a true story, and a surprising lesson about nature and consequences.

Tibbles the Cat is a funny, thought-provoking illustrated picture book for kids ages 6 to 9, inspired by a true historical event. When a cat named Tibbles moves with her owner from England to a small island near New Zealand in 1894, life seems peaceful at first. But Tibbles soon encounters a rare, flightless bird, the Stephens Island wren, and her instinctive behavior leads to unexpected and lasting consequences. Told with wit and warmth, this story blends humor with history to explore how small actions can have big effects.
