Step into the world of Darren Williams, a poet whose words are as rich and layered as the life he has lived. In Thirty Poems Has September, Darren invites readers on a journey through thirty carefully crafted poems that explore the beauty, humour and fragility of the human experience.
From the poignant reflections of The World Is Full of Broken Clocks to the quiet resilience of Dance On Regardless, and the bittersweet humour of The Day That Santa Died, Darren's debut collection offers moments that resonate with universal truths. His poetry, influenced by a lifetime of philosophical and theological musings, does not seek to provide answers but instead offers a space to ponder, connect and feel.
A writer from Dublin with a history of storytelling and a prestigious competition win to his name, Darren now lives in County Louth, where he finds inspiration in the everyday: his wife, his pets and the quiet rhythm of life. His reflective nature and love for literature shine through in every line, drawing readers into a world where empathy and understanding take centre stage.
Whether you are a seasoned poetry lover or a curious newcomer, Thirty Poems Has September is a collection that will linger in your heart and mind long after you have turned the final page.
Discover the debut of a poet who writes not to define, but to explore.
