Liberty LambrosI didn't think a one night stand could become so complicated. I was drunk, I wasn't thinking properly (clearly) and now look with the mess I'm left to deal with... But really how surprised can I really be that he got me pregnant? I certainly wasn't thinking of protection when I stumbled into the club's private bathroom with him.
Now when I thought my situation really couldn't possibly get any worse, I get assigned by the District Attorney to prosecute a case, a case against the man who is the father of my unborn baby.
Do I tell him I'm pregnant? Do I explain everything to the judge and recuse myself from the case? Except that none of those options are viable since my job depends on me convicting him. So unless I want to be a single, unemployed, mother, not to mention throw years of school down the drain for a man, I have no choice.
Also does he really deserve to know the truth? He's the head of the Greek Mafia and the crime he's convicted of... well let's just say it's not good.
Vasili StavropoulosI didn't think of her again after that night. To be fair I was drunk and after she left, I had other matters to attend to.
The thing is....I never forget a woman I've slept with, so when she walked into the courtroom and introduced herself, I knew immediately who she was and suddenly I couldn't take my mind off of her. I know I should have been using the time to strengthen my case, I could have even used all the extensive measures I was taking to follow and track her to my advantage. But when I find out she is pregnant with my child, everything changes and now the only thing that matters is taking care of her and the baby no matter the costs.
