Living Testimony is the life story of an African-American writer known as Lil Eugene. This is a story inspired by true events about his life. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, but raised in Flint, Michigan. He was raised by his mother. Lil Eugene was expected to turn out corrupt due to his behavior as a child and also because of his criminal life of drugs and crime. He did a total of eight years' incarceration between the two times he went to prison. Lil Eugene was released from the joint in 2011.Two years later, Lil Eugene was shot in his left femoral artery and left groin due to a home invasion. He was also tortured by the robbers (pistol whipped) during the home invasion.
