The Revenge of a Secondary Victim of Murder and Sexual Abuse In 1988, this secondary victim, with the nickname of Noddy, stabbed the person who murdered His father. It was where he did it that was amazing. It was at the Channel 7 Studios in Melbourne, Australia. The convicted murderer was waiting to be interviewed on the Derryn Hinch Show, a popular current affairs program. What is remarkable about this stabbing is that, although Noddy stabbed the murderer in the back and went to jail, nobody looked down on him for it. His workmates took up a collection and paid the rent on his flat while he was inside. Noddy was a very violent man, but he never took his violence out on friends or anyone that was not bothering him. But if someone crossed that line and threatened him, it was a very different story. His background, and his father's background are disclosed. It includes some humourous episodes and the incidents of violence. It shows the build of the hatred and violence in detail. It started with the sexual abuse of his brother, Brian, then grew with the murder of his father. It reached a crescendo and exploded in the violent revenge. Noddy's feelings before the stabbing, during it and after it are revealed. He actually planned his defence of the stabbing before he committed the crime. The aftermath of the revenge is somewhat sad, but it lifts right at the end. This is a crime story that is quite different.
