The Third Eye

A tale of clashing religion and clashing religion, The Third Eye tells the story of a young American chemist who comes to teach at a small college in the moutains of southern India. Throughout his stay, he experiences a bewildering display of religious symbolism and relitious discussion, causing him to wonder why he rejected religion long ago. His answer comes only after an encounter with a Hindu fundamentalist on a lonely mountain road.
